There are over 50 islands in the Caribbean and Caribbean is really one of the cruising best destinations in the world. 1. Western Caribbean Cruise Route - From Texas, Louisiana and Florida the Western Caribbean Cruise Route goes to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and then to the island of Cozumel. After the island of Cozumel it will head to Jamaica and then to the island of Honduras and Belize.
2. Eastern Caribbean Cruise Route – From Florida and to the other seaport in the eastern part of the US, to the Key West Sea to the Bahamas to the Turks and Caicos Islands and to the Virgin Island including Puerto Rico. This route is the most popular cruise route among the other Caribbean routes.
3. Southern Caribbean Cruise Route – From San Juan, Puerto Rico, this route goes to Lesser Antilles and the Netherlands Antilles and it extends up to the west in Aruba.
4. Exotic/Long-duration Caribbean Cruise Route – This route can start with any of the given routes or destinations. It can go in any route and sometimes the route doesn’t usually end at the place where it begins.
It is very hard to determine which Island and which routes you should take so it is better that you have knowledge of the places that you want to go. 6. Aruba - There are 365 beaches in the Dutch island of Aruba. If you are looking for a place to relax and to be one with nature, then go in the beaches of Aruba. It is the paradise of the Caribbean.
